Baby Movie Day 1 Box Office Collection

Baby is an action thriller movie which stars Akahay Kumar and Tapsee Panu in the lead cast.It also features Anupam Kher,Rana Daggubati and Kay Kay Menon in the supporting roles.Baby is directed by Neeraj Pandey who earlier directed 'A Wednesday' and 'Special 26'.It is produced by T-Series and Cape of Good Films.

According to early estimate Baby will collect 8-8.5 crore on its opening day.Baby started on the lower side in the morning but picked up later in the evening shows.This is the highest opening day of 2015.

Baby has taken a good start at the box office.It has opened well at the multiplexes.The occupancies at the multiplexes are in the range of 40-50% which is a good sign.The last multiplex oriented film was Happy Ending way back in 2014.So Baby has taken a good start at the multiplexes.

While Baby opened below average at the single screens.The occupancies at the single screens are in 25-30%.As Baby is targeting multiplexes audiences so it will not affect Baby box office collection.

Baby opened best in the Mumbai circuit as Akshay Kumar movies always tend to perform well in this circuit.

Baby showed an upward trend as the day progressed.The evening shows occupancies were in the range of 60-70%.It performed best in Dehli and Mumbai.But it was poor in Gujrat,Nizam and UP.

Baby have received rave reviews and with positive word of mouth it will surely pick up in the weekend.

This is a good start for Baby considering the last few releases.Baby has managed a decent opening though a 10 crore+ opening would be an ideal start.But still Baby have a 4 day weekend and it can recover.
