5 Mistakes Of Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest super stars not only in India but also worldwide.He is entertaining us since 20 years and still ruling the hearts of millions.He has given some of the biggest hits in Bollywood and is known as the King Khan of Bollywood.

But to err is human and no one is perfect.He has also made some mistakes which has damaged his carrier partially,In this article we will try to analyze the mistakes committed by King Khan

5.Rejecting 3 Idiots & Lagaan:

Every one wants to work with SRK but very few of them get a chance as Shah Rukh Khan usually works with selected production houses.This strategy prevents him from doing experiments with his films.Though in recent times he is experimenting with his rules.

Do you know SRK was offered lead rule in Lagaan and 3 Idiots.He turned down these offers and the rest is history.Lagaan remains the only Hindi film nominated for oscars in two decades and 3 Idiots went on to become the highest grossing Bollywood film ever.

Some of the others films that SRK rejected due to various reasons only known to him.

4.Making Ra.One

Ra.One was Indian science fiction superhero film released in 2011.It was produced by Shah Rukh Khans's production house Red Chillies and also feature him as a super hero.It was the most expensive Indian film at that time and huge expectations were attached with Ra.One.It was thought that Ra.One would compete with other Hollywood superhero films.SRK extensively promoted Ra.One on every platform available.International singer Akon also sung two songs in the movie.

But upon release of Ra.one it received negative reviews from critics and people also rejected Indian first superhero.Shah Rukh Khan became the butt of joke.Before Ra.one Shah Rukh Khan was known for his critically acclaimed movies like My name Is Khan,Chak De India.But with Ra.One he also entered into commercial cinema and he was criticized a lot for doing such a stupid film.

Ra.One also could not do well at the box office.It just managed to recover its cost.Lot of people make fun of Ra.One by comparing it with Robot.

3.Wankhede Controversy:

In 2012 Shah Rukh Khan was in Mumbai for cheering up his cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders.After the match finished SRK tried to enter into the ground but security officals stopped him from entering into the ground.This angered SRK a lot and he lost his patience.He was accused of abusing and beating officals.It was also said that he was drunk.

SRK denied these allegations and said that he was just trying to protect his children.The Mumbai Cricket Association banned SRK from entering Wanakhede stadium for five years.

This damaged SRK public image.His pics and voice recording of the fight got viral.Later on SRK accepted his mistake and apologised from his fans.

2.Fight With Salman Khan:

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were like brothers once.They were the best buddies in Bollywood.they did films together like Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

But things got changed in 2008.The fight happened at Katrina Kaif's birthday party.She was Salman's girlfriend at that time.Reportedly SRK remarked some thing about Salman's ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.It was enough to raise Salman's anger and things turned ugly.The two got into a very serious and heated conversation.Salman charged towards SRK and tried to hit him while SRK was also ready to counter attack.But Gauri and Katrina came between them to calm things down.However they calm down but their friendship was broken.

This was one of the biggest fight ever in Bollywood.The media speculated it more.People also divided into two groups and SRK received much criticism for his misbehaviour.Later on SRK apologised to Salman Khan on a show 'Koffe With Karan' but Salman did not forgive him.

They eventually patched up in 2014 and Shah Rukh Khan attended Salman's sister Arpita Khan's wedding.

1.Being A Muslim Controversy:

In 2013 SRK wrote an article 'Being A Khan' for a US magazine Outlook Turning Points.In this article he said'

"I sometimes become the inadvertent object of political leaders who choose to make me a symbol of all that they think is wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India. … Rallies have been held where leaders have exhorted me to leave my home and return to what they refer to as my ‘original homeland".

This article was misrepresented in the media and they interrupted is as Muslims are not safe in India.SRK had to face huge criticism from media and people from India.Some asked SRK to return to Pakistan if he does not feel safe in India.The situation got worse when Pakistani minister Rehman Malik said that India should provide security to Shah Rukh Khan.Also Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed offered SRK that he can come to Pakistan.We will provide him full security.

Later on SRK issued a statement clearing his stance that he was misunderstood.But the damage was done already.Till now this controversy continues and he is often labelled as a Pakistani by the extremists.
