Katrina Kaif Plays A Pakistani Doctor In Phantom


Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan are busy in the shooting of their upcoming movie Phantom.Recently Katrina was spotted in Kurta and Shalwar which is a Pakistani dress style in the city of Malerkotla.

The shooting spot,a market was transformed into a Pakistani market.Saif Ali Khan was seen dressed up as a Pathan.



Then the film crew went to Chandigarh for next shooting.

Sources reveal that shooting in Chandigarh took place in a school which was renamed Government Islamia High School, Misri Shah Lahore.

It is not for the first time that these locations are transformed to look alike Pakistan.In 2013 Dehli became Lahore for Mira Nair's Reluctant Fundamentlist About two years back American filmmaker Kathryn Beglow used Chandigarh and other locations in Punjab to recreate Pakistan for her film Zero Dark Thirty.And now Malerkotla is turning out to be perfect backdrop for shooting scenes in Pakistan.

In Chandigarh Katrina was spotted again in Kurta Shalwar.A source on the set told that Katrina Kaif is playing the role of a Pakistani doctor.

Phantom is directed by Kabir Khan whose previous flick was Ek Tha Tiger.It is interesting that Katrina played the role of an ISI Pakistani agent in Ek That Tiger too.


The movie produced by Sajid Nadidwalla is a full action drama based on the Mumbai 26/11 terror attack and its subsequent aftermaths.Film has been extensively shoot worldwide in Lebanon,Turkey and Kashmir.
